The theme for the re-opening of Alingsås Museum, Alingsås, Sweden, was to invite visitors and give them an opportunity to share ideas about their future city. For this I was commissioned to build a green screen photo application. The system involves two Canon Eos cameras (there are two green screen backgrounds – one for humans and one table based for smaller props) hooked up to a multitouch screen, on which users trigger the cameras and compose their collages. A finished collage can be printed directly as postcards, emailed, or published on Facebook.
